Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of 60 calendar days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. All questions regarding this bid should be emailed to Richard Delk at rdelk@wightco.com. Questions must be received no later than 11:00 AM (CST) Tuesday, November 29, 2022. An addendum will be published by 4:00 PM (CST) Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Wage rates for this Project are subject to both the minimum wage rates as per the Davis-Bacon Act and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for each classification of work and to the minimum Federal Wage Rates. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
