This building was partially damaged during the Marshall wildfire, with two bays and the office addition destroyed and the remainder of the building smoke damaged. The project will reconstruct the damaged elements of the structure and the interior, replace smoke damaged finishes, and make some required code upgrades. The existing building is a 10-bay, 9,500 square foot pre-engineered metal building with a 2-story administrative area and an office addition. The re-build will consist of new PEMB structural components for some of the bays and reuse of the components in other bays, a new roof, new insulation, new doors and windows, new siding, new plumbing fixtures, new heating and cooling systems, new lighting and electrical components, and new interior finishes. The existing foundations will be reused, and the existing concrete slab will remain except in the area severely damaged by the fire and as needed for plumbing modifications.
