New Q&A End Date:Jan 05, 2023 5:00:00 PM EST PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: N/A The Engineering and Project Management Division of the Public Utilities Department (PUD) has program areas funded annually for the evaluation and upgrading of the Water and Wastewater Systems. Due to a needed capacity at the South County Water Reclamation Facility and available capacity at the North County Water Reclamation Facility, design and construction of a "Western Interconnect" is currently underway to facilitate the diversion of wastewater flows from the South Service Area to the North Service Area. Along with planned upgrades to the existing Master Pump Station (MPS) 309 to collect wastewater flows from the South Service Area, the proposed force main will connect MPS 309 to the Western Interconnect which will allow the County to divert flows from the South Service Area to the North Service Area. Pursuant to this objective, the Collier County Master Pump Station 309.00 Preliminary Design Report (see Attachment 1) was developed by AECOM and was submitted to the County in March 2022. AECOM is precluded from participating in this solicitation. The County reserves the right to request AECOM consulting services as an advisor for this solicitation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
