Construction of a backup sodium hypochlorite storage and feed facility, including fiberglass storage tank, concrete foundation, chemical metering pumps, and appurtenances, and all associated electrical, instrumentation, controls, and piping. The Work also includes the replacement of existing hydraulic control valve actuators with electro-hydraulic actuators along with associated electrical, controls and appurtenances. The fiberglass storage tank and valve actuators are furnished by the Owner. The work also includes the furnishing and installation of a control cabinet with a remote terminal unit. The remote terminal unit shall be integrated with the existing PLC control panel. Prospective offerors must register with the Procurement Portal as a plan holder, even if proposal documents are obtained from a plan room or other site. All official notifications, addenda, and other documents will be offered only through the Procurement Portal. Proposal forms obtained from any source other than the District may be incomplete and bidders risk not receiving necessary addenda, or other required documents causing the submittal to be considered non-responsive, and eliminating the submittal from award. The District will not be responsible for the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the final proposal documents obtained from other sources. The deadline to ask questions is 06/30/23 Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Portal. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Portal will be posted on the Portal by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day.
