Renovation of a civil project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for electrical improvements that consist of replacing the existing 112.5KVA & 225KVA Transformers, proposed medium voltage cast-in-place concrete manholes (4000 psi)(10'x10'x7'), installation of concrete ductbank for wellhouses #1 through #10 feeders, and wires; which is owned and operated by the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (OWNER), and located at 6800 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL 33173.Existing System Description:Wellhouse Facilities (1 thru 10) Currently Alexander Orr Water Treatment Plant have Ten (10) Wellhouses to pump Water. Wellhouses #1, #8, #9, #10 currently have 225KVA Transformers and Wellhouses #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 currently have 112.5KVA Transformers with Obsolete Primary Switches. Wellhouses#1 thru #7 are currently fed from Transformers T6 and T10 Load Break Switch thru existing Ductbank. Wellhouses #8 thru #10 are currently fed from Transformer T14. A Kirk Key Interlock switch (At Wellhouse#7) serves as a safety interlock to ensure Wellhouse Transformers will not energized with both feeders at the same time.Installing of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) Primary Switches For all 10 Wellhouses. SBE-Con. Requirements:9.98% ,SBE-G Requirements : 1.60% Performance & Payment Bond Required: yes Bid Bond Required: yes. In the event a firm is established by executives, supervisors and other senior field staff (key employees) that would have met these minimum experience requirements with a prior firm, owner reserves the right to qualify the firm based on owner sole determination and evaluation of the knowledge and prior experience of these key employees employed by the new firm. The experience of key senior personnel with other firms may be counted towards the experience requirement, if acceptable to the engineer. Should such evidence not be satisfactory to the engineer, whose decision shall be final, the bid will be considered non-responsive, and the second lowest bidder will be considered for award. The qualifying proof shall be submitted in a separate sealed e nvelope with the bid.
