The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals for the provision of landscape maintenance services in any or all of the following three categories: - Parks and Facilitates (Category A) - Boulevards & Medians (Category B) - Walkways (Category C) Proponent may submit proposals for any or all of the three categories listed above. The term of the contracts is for an initial period of three (3) years with two one-year optional extension, by mutual agreement. The targeted start dates for the services are February 15th, 2023 for the Parks & Facilities and Boulevards & Medians categories, and April 15th, 2023 for the Walkways category. Proponents should visit sites and its surroundings to become familiar with local and other conditions affecting the services. Questions Due Date: Dec 6th 2022, 2:00 PM PST City Representative: Alec Chan. All inquiries related to this RFP are to be directed in writing to the City Representative and submitted electronically. Inquiries should be made no later than seven days before Response Date. The City reserves the right not to respond to inquiries made within seven days of the Response Date. Inquiries and responses will be recorded and may be distributed to all Proponents at the discretion of the City. Proponents finding discrepancies or omissions in the Contract or RFP, or having questions as to the meaning or intent of any provision, should immediately notify the City Representative. If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue an addendum in accordance with the front page of this RFP. No oral conversation will affect or modify the terms of this RFP or may be relied upon by any Proponent. All inquiries related to the status of this RFP, including whether or not a Contract has been awarded, should be directed to the City Representative. The City reserves the right to set a priority schedule indicating the order and timeframe that park locations must be serviced The City reserves the right to alter the frequency of any service schedule or the number of locations / site visits Award Recommendation: December 23, 2022 Contract Award : January 6, 2023 The Service Provider hereby acknowledges and agrees that it will obtain and maintain throughout the Term of this Agreement a valid City of Abbotsford business license.
