The project includes the following work: The project consists of upgrading the existing WWTF from an RBC process to activated sludge. Major construction includes converting the RBC tanks into aeration tanks. A pump room to house the pumps to supply wastewater to the aeration basin and return sludge pumps will be constructed adjacent to the aeration basin. A new final clarifier will be constructed. The existing final clarifier will have the walls raised from elevation 1242 to elevation 1251. The septage dumping location will be relocated. The idle anaerobic digestor will have aeration diffusers added and it will be used as a temporary aerobic digestor while repairs are made to the current aerobic digestor. The control building will have minor modifications. The existing plant will remain in service during construction.
