Renovation of an educational facility in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**General Bid Date and time (12/12/2022 at 3:45 PM ET) The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the General Bidder shall be for the category of work defined as General Building Construction The work consists of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, and accessibility upgrades to the Samuel Watson Elementary School including associated repairs and hazardous materials abatement. The Work includes the following major items: a. Removal and disposal of existing lighting system and fixtures b. Removal and disposal of existing acoustical ceiling and grid c. Removal and disposal of existing fire alarm devices d. Installation of new drops and sprinkler heads from existing overhead fire suppression system. e. Installation of a new acoustical ceiling and lighting system f. Installation of a new building-wide HVAC system g. Installation of a new fire alarm devices h. Painting i. Resinous Epoxy Flooring Installation in the basement corridors j. Construction of a concrete sidewalk in front of the building . The existing school is located at 935 Eastern Avenue. The building is approximately 45,332 square feet and consist of 5 levels. Minority and Women (MBE/WBE) Workforce Participation goal of 13.0% for this contract ;Design Participation: Combined MBE/WBE goal of ( 21.6%) The Work will be substantially completed on or before August 18, 2023 ; Final completion- September 15, 2023
