The Weslaco Independent School District (herein after referred to as "WISD" or the "District") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Strategic Planning Services. This study will include but not limited to district's overall educational position and projections for the next 5-10 years. This comprehensive study will be a guide to the vision and mission of the organization. Key factors such as: population, projected growth, teaching methods, classroom size and composition along with other key trends should be identified and detailed in the firm's final Strategic Planning Report presented to the district. Term of the agreement shall commence soon after an award by the Board of Trustees is granted, which is scheduled to be on December 13, 2022. The term of this contract will be for one (1) year effective December 14, 2022 or after board approval, whichever occurs last. The District retains the option to exercise a 1-year follow-up opportunity as listed in the cost section, if any. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal, waive minor technicalities and award the proposal to best serve the interest of the District. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
