Newton Elementary and Newton Community High School HVAC Upgrades No immediate decision shall be rendered concerning the bids submitted. After the bids have been tabulated and evaluated, they will be presented to Jasper County CUSD #1 for approval. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and marked "Jasper County CUSD #1 Newton Elementary and Newton Community High School HVAC Upgrades Bid" including appropriate bid package(s) number. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Bid Packages Will Include: 1. Bid Package No. 1 a - High School General Trades 2. Bid Package No. 1 b - Elementary School General Trades 3. Bid Package No. 2a - High School HVAC 4. Bid Package No. 2b - Elementary School HVAC 5. Bid Package No. 3a- High School Electrical 6. Bid Package No. 3b - Elementary School Electrical Work involves upgrades to the elementary schools and high schools existing HVAC systems. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to Jasper County CUSD #1, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall accompany the Bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will execute the contract, and proceed with the work. Should a bidder find discrepancies, ambiguities, and/ or omissions for the Contract Documents, or be in doubt of their meaning, bidder shall at once, and in any event no later than Thursday, December 1st, 2022, at 5:00 pm central time, notify the Owner/CM by completing the Request for Clarification form who will include a written response to all bidders via addendum.
