As of June 28, 2023, this project is in the final design phase. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, project is anticipated to begin construction in January 2024. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. A detailed scope has not been released. The Town of Oak Bluffs, through the Office of the Town Administrator, will receive responses from qualified firms for Engineering Services for final design phase and construction engineering services, for the Resilient Infrastructure for East Chop Drive; including repair and reconstruction of 1,200 LF seriously eroded stone revetment and coastal bank and as further described in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The Town reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive informalities and to award in the best interest of the Town. This procurement involves federal funding under the FEMA Pre-Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, and subject to compliance standards under 2CFR 200.317 through 200.327. The Town shall follow its own documented procurement procedures which reflect applicable State, local and tribal laws, and regulations, provided that the procurements confirm to the applicable federal procurement standard defined in 2CFR 200.317 through 200.327.
