Site work and outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field in San Benito, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.
Scope of Work for Bid: Provide labor, material, and equipment related to Sports Lighting System. Major items of work include, but are not limited to, the extended electrical infrastructure required to support the Sports Lighting Equipment for the multiple fields. Also, empty conduits/raceways for future communications systems. All proposals must be on a lump sum basis including General Contract and Electrical work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total of proposals submitted must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract value will be required upon issuance of contract Proposal envelopes shall be plainly marked, "CSP# 22-23-22 LFCISD UNITED SPORTS LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS". Please submit one (1) original and one (1) electronic copy (CD or USB Drive), any Proposal received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified. Faxed or emailed Bids are not acceptable. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after Proposal due date without the consent of the Owner. Bids received after the Proposal deadline will be returned unopened to Bidder. Personal delivery of Proposal is recommended. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids or accept any Proposal or portion thereof most advantageous to the Owner after the ranking and evaluation Each Bidder will be held to have studied the Plans and Specifications, to have visited all sites affecting the proposed work, to have satisfied themselves regarding all existing conditions and measurements, and to have included in their Proposal an amount sufficient to cover all work. To schedule additional site visits, please contact the Owner. All firms submitting Bids for this project are required to meet all qualification requirements as established in these Bid documents. Should any Bidder find discrepancies between the Plans and Specifications, or be in doubt as to their exact meaning, they should notify the Engineer at once. The Engineer may, but is not required to, issue an addendum clarifying same. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for oral instructions or for misinterpretations of Plans and Specifications. Additional information including addenda will be issued to known plan holders including construction plan rooms. 1. New Sports Lighting System for the multiple fields. See plans to identify Base Bid and the different alternates. 2. Provide electrical infrastructure (feeders, electrical panels, contactors, etc.) as noted for the sports lighting equipment. 3. Provide empty raceway and pull boxes for future communications systems. 4. Provide the required foundation and supports for sports lighting poles. 5. Commissioning: Provide assistance with commissioning services per specifications. This includes completing systems readiness checklists, performing functional testing, providing operator training, etc. 6. Allowances: The owner has set aside allowances for unforeseen circumstances. See Section 012100.
