Over the past two years, we have had two incidents where the current Crestron DMPS-300-C control and signal routing device in our City Hall council chambers has spontaneously lost its programming and became unusable until we paid a professional to reprogram the device. Due to the age of the device, fears of it losing its programming again, and in order to facilitate an increase in current and future streaming/remote meeting integration, we are planning to update this device. We also wish to add a single camera with pan and zoom functionality to the council chambers, along with any necessary microphones to pick up audio, to stream boards & commissions meetings. All new equipment must be functionally integrated with the existing AV equipment. Project location - 519 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417, United States 1. Replace Crestron DMPS-300-C control and signal routing device with an updated audio and component control system that is compatible with existing AV equipment (projectors, screens, microphones) that will allow for more integrated video & streaming operability. 2. Ceiling mounted HD video conference camera with pan and zoom capabilities and an appropriate field of view for the space. The camera system will need to be able to easily and intuitively stream online, particularly to facebook. 3. Wireless or suspended microphone solution that will work in conjunction with video conference camera for audio on streaming meetings and videoconferencing. 4. Any new equipment must allow for future integration of existing AV equipment (projectors, screens, microphones) with web conferencing services, such as Zoom. 5. Touch screen controller that will control all components of the AV system and video conference camera. 6. All required engineering, installation, and system programming for new equipment, as well as completing integration with existing AV equipment (projectors, screens, microphones) and testing to ensure everything is working properly. 7. Training of City staff on operation of new equipment. The City of Grand Haven reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any parts of the same, to waive any irregularities and to accept any bid in its own best interest.
