Midway City is requesting proposals from qualified design consulting firms to prepare landscape and irrigation plans for Alpenhof Park. The park is approximately 2.6 acres at approximately 320 North Alpenhof Lane, Midway, Utah. A concept plan for the park has previously been developed and is attached to the RFP. A future phase is shown on the concept that will not be designed at this time. The proposals will be received at: 75 North 100 West Midway, Utah, 84049. Questions may be directed to Mr. Wes Johnson of Horrocks Engineers (Midway City Engineer) at (435) 654-2226. The City may select a qualified firm from the proposals received or elect to short list a qualified group of finalists to interview for further evaluation. Candidates are asked not to contact individual City staff members but to direct all inquiries as noted above. Park designs done within Wasatch County will receive a higher ranking. Firm and individual(s) qualification to complete the proposed work (Utah licensed landscape architect) 3. A detailed scope of work suitable for inclusion in a final contact 4. Cost estimate to complete the proposed work 5. Proposals shall not exceed five (5) pages, not including resumes. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED WORK The consultant is to work closely with Midway City staff and the Midway City Trails, Parks, and Tree committee to prepare a full design bid package. The design firm shall begin the design using the concept plan Midway City has developed for the future Alpenhof Park. The design bid package will be used for the construction bidding process. At a minimum, the following items should be addressed in the scope of work. The following list should not be considered as either all-inclusive or sequentially ordered. Consultants should draw from their experience and expertise to expand on the items to be considered. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
