Upgrades and improvements to Gohier dam for increasing its security and reliability. The scope of the project includes work to increase the capacity of the dam spillway during flooding, increasing the resilience for water collection at the water treatment plant intake during severe low water. TIMELINE: The awarded engineering professional consultant has submitted to the owner a final report relating to the project implementation that is now under review. It is undetermined now whether the owner will proceed with construction. Project will be followed if/when it proceeds to a planning stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
