The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to: Roof replacement on up to seven pumping stations (the "Work") as set out on the list of drawings and specifications described as follows: .1 Remove and dispose of parapet wall to expose concrete bond beam. .2 Remove veneer siding as required for installation of new roof. .3 Remove and dispose of ballast as required by drawings. .4 Remove and replace electrical services as required. .3 Roof Replacement .1 Supply and install engineered wood trusses @ 24" o/c. .1 Refer to drawings for dimensions. .2 Dimensions to be confirmed onsite prior to ordering materials .2 Supply and install roof sheathing. .3 Supply and install metal roof. .4 Supply and install new soffit and fascia. .5 Supply and install new gable end framing sheathing and siding. .6 Supply and install new eavestrough and downspout. .7 Supply and install new snowguards. The Successful Bidder shall achieve substantial performance of the Work for the Project by Spring 2023. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to sclifford@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the CITY does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the CITY to provide any written response to a written inquiry. Telephone inquiries will not be replied to. Submission of a tender by a Bidder gives the CITY the right to require the Bidder to execute the contract to perform the Work as set out within the tender documents. Tenders may not be withdrawn after the Tender Closing and will be irrevocable and open for acceptance by the CITY for a period of sixty (60) days following the end of the day of the Tender Closing. The Successful Bidder will be notified in writing of the award of the Tender when the CITY delivers a letter of intent to the Successful Bidder.
