Sealed bids are hereby invited by the Claiborne Parish Police Jury for the purchase of Hot Mix and Colay (Cold Mix) necessary for the maintenance of Claiborne Parish roads for the year 2023. Price quoted shall be for materials loaded on Parish trucks at your plant. Any bid received for material to be loaded on Parish trucks more than sevePipe piping and pipe fittings including adapters and angle face rings and backup flanges and baffles and bends and bushings and caps and connectors.Hoses including acid hoses and air hoses and drill hoses and marine hoses and oil hoses and chemical hose and mining hose and steam cleaning hose and spray hose and hydraulic hose.UTA is seeking a contract to manage our Fittings and Hoses at 9 UTA maintenance shop locations. UTA seeks a requirement, firm fixed priced contract with a term of three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2), additional one (1) year periods, for a total Contract period not to exceed five (5) years. Proposal prices shall be valid for 90-days after proposal due date. If UTA accepts the proposer's prices during that 90-day period, the proposed prices may not be adjusted for 12 months. After which, the Contractor must submit their request for price adjustments in writing and provide documentation from suppliers to support any adjustment requests. Price adjustments will not be retroactive; ordering prices will not be changed until the adjustments are approved by UTA by written change order. UTA warrants it will consider requests for price adjustments within a reasonable time from date of receipt; contractor warrants that it will not delay delivery of items pending price changes. All price modifications are subject to the approval of UTA If price increases are not mutually acceptable, the item may be cancelled off the contract. Requests shall be emailed to jdang@rideuta.com. Anything omitted from such specifications, which are clearly necessary, shall be considered a portion of such cost although not directly specified or called for in the specifications. Proposer should describe any payment discounts available. UTA will not be responsible for or pay for any costs, charges or fees not included or identified in the proposal.nty (70) miles, one-way, from Homer, LA. will not be considered. Bids accepted will be the low bid at the present time with an escalator clause allowing supplier to add increase by same amount cost is increased or decrease if prices decline - for the escalator clause to be executed the Jury must be notified by the supplier via certified mail fifteen (15) days prior to the date the price increase/decrease will take effect.
