Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Geneseo, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
For the following: Project description: The City will require the bidder to submit 3 similar projects for the following work. Bid documents will include a floor plan, a general list of materials and a scope of work. A lump sum bid will be required for the Post Frame Building and the Attic Insulation. An alternate bid will be required for the 6 PCC Floor and the 29 GA. Interior Wall Liner Panel. 1. Post Frame Building: The site for this building is at 686 S. Chicago Street adjacent to an existing building. The work will include a 40-foot-wide by 64-foot-long by 16-foot-high post framed building. 2. Attic Insulation: R38 Blow-in Cellulose insulation. 3. 6 PCC Floor (Alternate Bid 1): Alternate 6 PCC Floor with 6 Aggregate Base. 4. 29 GA. Interior Wall Liner Panel (Alternate Bid 2): 29 GA. Interior Wall Liner Panel for proposed building interior. All materials shall be U.S. made. The most current general prevailing wage rates for Henry County shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract. The City Council reserves the right to reject any bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities.
