Wood Buffalo Housing is issuing this RFP for design and construction of playgrounds and fencing at 2 of our properties, Horizon View located at 103 Powder Drive and Siltstone Ridge located at 257/261 Siltstone Place. Playground/Fence – Horizon View Horizon View property is located at 103 A/B/C Powder Drive. This property consists of 109 rental apartments, 1 office and 20 rental townhouses. Each of the rental properties consists of one, two and three bedrooms. Design and construct a new playground and complete one side of the chain link fence with an entrance and repair any damage to the other 3 sides to ensure that it safely encompasses the playground. Playground will be constructed in the open space to the left of the property by the entrance. Playground and chain link fence must meet the minimum requirements set forth by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Playground must be constructed with safety as a priority. Playground will be designed for minimum maintenance requirement. Contractor to supply all equipment and materials to complete the project. The contractor will be responsible for any damage to property caused by heavy equipment/supplies including, but not limited to, buildings, curbs, parking blocks, islands, sidewalks, light standards, signs, landscaping, or paving. Contractor to obtain and close all permits required to complete the project. Notice will be required so that tenants can be aware of construction start dates. The successful proponent(s) will need to provide and keep on hand all criminal record checks for any and all staff performing the work. Wood Buffalo Housing can request this information at any time. Playground/Fence – Siltstone Ridge Siltstone Ridge property is located at 257/261 Siltstone Place. This property consists of 156 rental apartments, 1 office and 19 rental townhouses. Each of the rental properties consists of one, two and three bedrooms. The playground will be constructed in the space between the buildings. Design and construct a new playground and chain link fence with an entrance to encompass the playground. Playground and chain link fence must meet the minimum requirements set forth by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Playground must be constructed with safety as a priority.
