You are invited to bid for a contract on individual Bid Packages for the Jonesboro High School Renovation to Multi-Purpose Space project for Jonesboro Public Schools, Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereinafter termed Owner. This project is funded by the American Rescue Plan - Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP-ESSER) Fund which means all contracts over $2,000.00 must meet all Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements. Bids will be based on a lump sum basis for the specified Bid Package Number. The Project consists of renovating approximately 4,721 square feet of Multi-Purpose space on the first floor of the Jonesboro High School. The work will start January 3rd, 2023 and be completed by June 1st, 2023. This project will include demolition of existing CMU walls and renovation of steel stud and gypsum board partitions, hollow metal frame and wood doors, floor coverings, millwork, acoustical ceilings, fire suppression and alarm system, intercom system, plumbing and associated HVAC and electrical. For the mutual protection of the Owner, Contractor and Architect, no partial sets of Contract Documents in either hard copy or electronic format will be issued. Bid Security in the amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, and payable to the Construction Manager, Bailey Contractors, Inc., must accompany each Bid. All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board and shall be licensed before submitting a Bid. The Construction Manager and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any formalities not bound by Arkansas statues.
