Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Solon, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.
As of October 4 2024 this project is in late planning and will be a renovation addition, Ohio-based Swagelok Co. has given $500,000 to the Cuyahoga County Public Library to help build and name the "largest and most advanced maker space" in the library's system. This will pay for the adding a 1,350-square-foot innovation center to the library's Solon branch, which is undergoing a $7 million expansion expected to be completed in March. REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS The Cuyahoga County Public Library is accepting statements of qualification and proposals to provide construction management at risk services for the addition and renovation of the Solon Branch Library Facility. Instructions for Proposals and the Project Description are available for examination to prospective construction management at risk firms and other interested parties by contacting tthompson@cuyahogalibrary.org for an electronic and/or hard copy. Also, please be aware all proposals need to be submitted on the appropriate AIA Documents in addition to what is listed in the RFQ.
