Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Ironton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security amount shall be equal to 5% of the bid amount and, if furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. A certified check, cashier's check or money order in the same amount is acceptable bid guaranty. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders are required to submit bids using current Prevailing Wage rates as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. The Lawrence County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who in their consideration offered the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The Lawrence County Commission also reserves the right to hold all bids for 60 days.
