The County of Butte (County) Department of Public Works is soliciting proposals from independent, licensed, professional Architectural and Engineering (A&E) consultant firms for services for all phases of project development associated with the construction of a new County road maintenance facility in Gridley and the renovation of existing road maintenance offices located at #9 County Center Drive in Oroville. Use 8-1/2" x 11" sheets (11" x 17" landscape format fold outs are acceptable for charts, images etc.). Type size must be large enough to be easily legible, but shall not be smaller than 10 point. Type of font is unregulated. Questions and requests for clarification may only be submitted via the above listed web portal. Questions and the corresponding answers will be available to all potential Proposers and other interested parties. Questions shall be submitted no later than 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. The County will provide answers and clarifications by posting an addendum(s) through the Public Purchase website so all Responders receive consistent information. It is the SELECTION PROCESS 2022-11 Architectural and Engineering Design Services November 17, 2022 Page 12 of 22 responsibility of all interested Firms to access the website for this information. Respondents shall acknowledge receipt of all Addenda in their SOQ. Questions received after the deadline will not be answered. The County reserves the right to:
i. request additional information, or clarification of information, from Proposers
that have submitted a response to this Solicitation;
ii. award multiple contracts if it is in the best interest of The County;
iii. enter into negotiations with more than one Proposer;
iv. reject any or all submittals received if The County determines that it is in its
best interest to do so;
v. cancel or amend this Solicitation at any time and solicit similar services in the
future;
vi. reject any submittal that does not meet all of the mandatory requirements of
this Solicitation, is conditional or is incomplete;
vii. waive minor inconsistencies deemed to be irrelevant. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
