The City of Forney is accepting Proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk for City of Forney Fire Station #2 Renovations CIP 225. The City of Forney (the "City") invites sealed Statements of Qualifications for a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMaR) team member to provide pre-construction and construction services for: Location: Fire Station No. 2. The City will use a two-step CMaR selection process, and this solicitation is the first step. The second step will be interviews from no more than the four (4) most qualified firms, as determined by the City. Existing Fire Station #2, in service since 2016, is to have renovations and additions to include, but limited to, the following: Addition of a new apparatus bay with mezzanine above to accommodate storage and training area, Reconfiguration of existing apparatus bay to allow the addition of new overhead door resulting in the drive-through bay for apparatus, Addition of Training/Hose Tower, Additional Public and Fire Fighter parking, Relocation of equipment, extractor, SCBA, and tool room to better utilize space and enhance environmental safety, Indoor exercise area with sauna, Relocation of Decon area and Bunker Gear storage, Renovation of outdoor patio area with cover and including privacy fence, Interior renovations will include additional bunk rooms, Captain's quarters, new restrooms, Kitchen renovation, paint, and flooring.
