The Alachua County Housing Authority is looking for contractors or individuals experienced in fencing to repair or replace the fencing located at the main offices located at 703 NE 1st Street Gainesville per the scope of work below. Scope of Work
Option
o Remove two section of fence as noted on the attached drawings
o Approximately 80' behind carriage house on north side of property
o Approximately 16' on the SE corner of the property
o Clean all vines and debris off remaining fence line including items growing through the fence
o Replace all rotten posts with new pressure treated posts of the same size. Corner and end posts need to be concreted in
o Replace all broken or missing slats, 2' x 4's, etc.
o Clean fence to prepare for painting
o Add a section of fence on the north side behind the carriage house to fill space between fence and corner of building to keep out trespassers. Approximately 4'
o Paint entire fence with Sherwin Williams A-100 Flat
o Color is Oakmoss SW6180
o Paint specifications are for design and quality standards. Any equivalent paint can be used, however you must include specific details in your quote as to the equivalence. Otherwise, the specified paint is to be used.
o Removal of all debris, site must be kept clean and safe at all times
Option 2 Quote for full replacement of fence meeting the new layout, painting, etc. as noted in Option 1 above

o Care needs to be taken for neighboring properties and clients of ACHA
