Site work and renovation of a civil project in North Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing complete and installation of improvements to the rehabilitation of the Davis Road Pump Station. Generally, the project consists of replacement of two (2) influent pumps, valving and piping, replacement mechanical bar screen, replacement slide gates, upgrades to the bulk sodium hypochlorite storage and dosing system, new 30-inch HDPE force main, PLC-base control panels and instrumentation replacements, electrical improvements, heating and ventilation and plumbing system upgrades and improvements along with other miscellaneous asset replacements. CONTRACT NO. 1, 2, 3, 4 The Division of Purchase is available for consultation with prime contractors and their designated points of contact regarding the requirements for the development of M/WBE Utilization and Workforce Participation programs. By submission of the non-refundable fee, bidder will be registered as an official plan holder. Only official plan holders are eligible to bid on the project. Subcontractors, suppliers, equipment vendors, etc. will also be required to submit the non-refundable payment to receive the Contract Documents. Bidders who request the mailing of the documents shall include, in addition to the Bidding Document fee, an additional non-refundable delivery and handling charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set, payable by separate check to Plan and Print Systems, Inc. If bidders wish to purchase printed copies of the Contract Documents, they may be obtained directly through Plan & Print Systems Inc. Only official plan holders will be allowed to obtain printed copies of the Contract Documents. Bidders acknowledge that they are responsible for review of all components of the Contract Documents, including all specification sections and drawings, regardless of how many drawings they print and in which format/size they are printed. Full-size Contract Drawings are on 24-inch x 36-inch paper. Bidders acknowledge they are responsible for properly scaling drawings if they are printed at any other size. Each plan holder of record will be notified by an email regarding each addendum issued for the project. Emails will be from Plan and Print. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate email address when requesting Bidding Documents. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the Public Plan Room on the Plan and Print website to ensure that all addenda have been received and to download each addendum that is issued. Copies of the above-described Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the Division of Purchase, 421 Montgomery Street, John H. Mulroy Civic Center, 13 th Floor, Syracuse, NY 13202 and at the office of the County of Onondaga, Department of Water Environment Protection, 3rd Floor, Administration Building, 650 Hiawatha Boulevard West, Syracuse, NY 13204. The form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. In addition, the Contractor shall be required to provide a "Statement of Surety's Intent" with his bid The Bidders should not include in their bid the Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on the cost of the materials which are to be incorporated into the Project and which are to be separately sold by the Bidder to the municipality prior to incorporation into the Project. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all bids. CONTRACT 1 - GENERAL CONTRACT 2 - ELECTRICAL CONTRACT 3 - HEATING AND VENTILATION CONTRACT 4 - PLUMBING B. Work not specifically identified in the Bid Item Descriptions, but nevertheless required in the Contract Documents, shall be performed as shown and/or specified. C. Work of the contract comprises the project for the construction of the Davis Road Pump Station Upgrade for the Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection. A. Provide administrative and procedural work under the sections listed above. B. Provide temporary facilities and services under the sections listed above. C. Provide those construction facilities and temporary controls identified in Section 015000. D. Prepare, coordinate and revise schedule as required under Section 013200. E. Provide construction documentation of project as required under Section 013205. F. Perform work specified in Section 15400 Temporary Bypass Pumping. G. Perform work specified in Section 15410 Temporary Chemical Feed System. H. Perform work specified in Section 15420 Sludge & Grit Removal. I. Conduct testing of project components as specified in the Contract Documents. J. Perform work identified in Bid Item Description . K. Provide hazardous materials demolition, removal, disposal, and abatement, if required. L. Work of this contract not specifically identified in the Bid Item Descriptions, but required in the Contract Documents, shall be performed as shown and/or specified. 1.07. CONTRACT NO. 2 - ELECTRICAL A. Provide administrative and procedural work under the sections listed above. B. Provide temporary facilities and services under the sections listed above. C. Provide those construction facilities and temporary controls identified in Section 015000 which are required to be provided by the Electrical Contractor. D. Perform Work identified in Bid Item Descriptions. E. Work of this Contract not specifically identified in the Bid Item Descriptions, but nevertheless required in the Contract Documents, shall be performed as shown and/or specified. 1.08. CONTRACT NO. 3 - HEATING AND VENTILATION. A. Provide administrative and procedural Work under the sections listed above. B. Provide temporary facilities and services under the sections listed above. C. Provide those construction facilities and temporary controls identified in Section 015000 which are required to be provided by the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Contractor. D. Perform Work identified in Bid Item Descriptions. E. Work of this Contract not specifically identified in the Bid Item Descriptions, but nevertheless required in the Contract Documents, shall be performed as shown and/or specified. 1.09. CONTRACT NO. 4 - PLUMBING A. Provide administrative and procedural work under the sections listed above. B. Provide temporary facilities and services under the sections listed above. C. Provide those construction facilities and temporary controls identified in Section 015000 which are required to be provided by the Plumbing Contractor. D. Perform Work identified in Bid Item Descriptions. E. Work of this Contract not specifically identified in the Bid Item Descriptions, but nevertheless required in the Contract Documents, shall be performed as shown and/or specified .
