Renovation of a military facility in Bluefield, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
As of October 8,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the Adjutant General's Office, Division of Engineering and Facilities to establish a contract to provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to complete restroom and locker room renovations at the Brushfork Amory near Bluefield, WV. The scope of work for the WVARNG Brushfork Armory Restroom Renovations will focus on all restrooms within the armory and include new finishes (paint, tile, toilet partitions, ceiling systems), fixtures, lighting and reconfigured layouts to accommodate space requirements and ADA compliance. In addition to all restrooms, renovation work will also include 2 locker rooms (areas) and a new fitness area to be located in the previous firing range. These spaces to receive new finishes (floor, paint, ceiling), new lighting (LED) and new lockers where applicable. Existing glass entry systems will be removed and replaced with similar aluminum framed entry system and security glazing as documented.
