As of April 1, 2025, this project has been cancelled. The Town of Glastonbury is considering a development partnership with a qualified developer to construct a mixed-income affordable housing project on a site to be purchased by the Town totaling 10.86+- acres, located at 50-55 Nye Road, Glastonbury, CT. The subject parcel provides access to immediately adjacent Town-owned land that will be available for the proposed affordable housing project. A 2-step process is planned, including an initial Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and based on developer qualifications and interviews, a shortlist of developers will be asked to forward a detailed development and financial Proposal as part of the secondary Request for Proposal (RFP) phase. Respondents will be required to create a profile before submitting their proposal.
