The Town of Glastonbury is considering a development partnership with a qualified developer to construct a mixed-income affordable housing project on a site to be purchased by the Town totaling 10.86+- acres, located at 50-55 Nye Road, Glastonbury, CT. The subject parcel provides access to immediately adjacent Town-owned land that will be available for the proposed affordable housing project. A 2-step process is planned, including an initial Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and based on developer qualifications and interviews, a shortlist of developers will be asked to forward a detailed development and financial Proposal as part of the secondary Request for Proposal (RFP) phase. Respondents will be required to create a profile before submitting their proposal. Step-by-step instructions on how to register as a vendor are available at ELECTRONICALLY The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any part of, or the entire proposal, when said action is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town.
