Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Algonquin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Community Unit School District 300, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for 2023 Summer Renovations - Bid Release 1. This project includes the following trade packages: 02A-1 Demolition, 09F-1 Flooring, and 32A-1 Asphalt Paving. The proposed project involves removal and replacement of existing 200-meter asphalt running track at Algonquin Middle School; at Westfield Community School work includes the removal and replacement of existing flooring in the elementary school classrooms, teaching spaces, and administrative offices. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this project. Revised rates will apply for the duration of the contract. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Community Unit School District 300 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. Bidders failing to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the project and the existing conditions at the scope review may be rejected.
