Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Pierce, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information. The Tipping floors are to be milled to 1, leveled and then a 3 SP 12.5 asphalt (one lift), compacted, with a tapered edge. The resulting Asphalt millings may be disposed of on site at no charge, for all listed projects. The asphalt overlay will extend completely from North wall to South Wall. From the West Wall to the East Wall, the new asphalt overlay will extend to the eastern entrance and exit doors and tapered into the connecting roads. The new asphalt overlay will butt up against the North and South conveyors on all three sides. The asphalt overlay of the tipping floor area is where the loaders and shredders operate. The asphalt overlay of the Single Stream tipping floor area is where the loaders and skid steers operate. The Tipping floors are to be milled to 1, leveled and then a 3 SP 12.5 asphalt (one lift), compacted, with a tapered edge. The asphalt overlay of the Roads and Ramps is in the high traffic area where customers leave the scales to enter the tipping floor and exit the tipping floor to get on the outbound scale. First area was 35x 100 and the second area was 70x100, combined for a total of 10,500 square feet, or 116.7 square yards. Solid Waste staff will complete the prep work in this area, scraping the grassy area and laying a base material where needed. The asphalt would need to be milled in the roadway to 1 and the entire project would require 3 SP 12.5 asphalt (one lift), compacted, with a tapered edge. All questions shall be faxed (772) 462-1704 or e-mailed ciminod@stlucieco.org to the attention of Desiree Cimino.
