This project is regarding the painting interior and exterior entire house, attached decks and ramps approximately 2,138 Sq.Ft. . OPWDD will provide the contractor awarded the project with a floor plan and a color scheme for each home. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner per scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Interior work is to be completed within 90 days of award. Exterior work must be completed by June 1, 2023. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages, and certified payroll are required. A copy of the certified payroll will be attached with the invoice at the end of the project and copies materials purchase. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Interior and exterior Painting), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. OPWDD's Capital District DDSO Purchasing Unit is looking to obtain quotes from responsible and qualified MWBEs, SDVOBs or NYS small business contractors to preform interior and exterior painting at the addresses listed below per the attached scopes of work. Pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6), which authorizes purchases without a formal competitive process in certain circumstances, including purchases from NYS Small Businesses, MWBE-certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law or SDVOB-certified pursuant to Article 17-B of the New York State Executive Law. The successful bidder must submit at least three (3) work references that will verify that the bidder has at least three (3) years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in Scope/Mandatory Requirements. Applicable insurances are required. Contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest total cost for painting services. Prevailing wage will apply. This project is awarded as a cluster. To be considered for this project, all locations in a cluster must be submitted on the bid forms provided and include the materials and labor cost break down.
