Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Emporium, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work included in contract consists of removal of existing structure carrying E. Cowley Run Rd over Unnamed Trib. to E. Branch Cowley Run consisting of approx 60" dia. HDPE pipe & replace with precast reinforced concrete box culvert & precast reinforced concrete end sections. Proposed replacement structure is to be 12'-0" normal clear span with 6' rise (depressed 2') & provide 18' clear roadway width. Also includes replacement of driving surface aggregate, assoc. guiderail, rock lining & architectural surface treatment to exposed faces of end sections. Bidders for project shall as of the bid opening date be listed as PennDOT prequalified as Prime Contractor in Cat. S4, Bridge Culverts, Pedestrian Bridges, Timber Bridges, in accordance with PennDOT's Specs, Pub. 408, Sect. 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2020. Successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate. Eng. Est.: $100,000 - $500,000 SMALL BUS. CERT. & SMALL DIV. BUS. MPLS APPLIES. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
