Renovation of a multi-residential development in Kenmore, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

This project has been awarded to BCN Construction The building is a two-story wood-clad building with sixteen individual units. There are twelve outside decks, six upper and six lower. The Brookside Envelope project is comprised of (but is not limited to) the removal of the following existing items: decking material, exterior deck doors, storage door, sprinkler room door, removal of 8" of siding around decks where siding meets decking, deck railings, 2X decking, Dur-a-Deck membrane, windows, siding around windows and doors, blinds, lighting, crawl space access cover, flashings, selective siding demo and replacement as noted on A2.2/1,2, and the cutting back of siding where it meets roof lines. Detail A2.2/1. Envelope MUST BE: a. Sealed b. List Name and Address of your Firm/Company c. List Due Date and Time d. List Project Name: BROOKSIDE ENVELOPE e. Mailing / Shipping Package or Wrapping must also be marked with this information. BID BOND OR CERTIFIED CHECK: Amount: Five (5%) Percent of the Total bid must accompany Each Bid greater than one hundred fifty ($150,000) dollars. Payable to: King County Housing Authority Process: Bid Bond or Certified Check will be returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders withinTen (10) Days after the Contract Award. Projects valued over one hundred fifty thousand ($150,000) dollars require a one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond. (See Section C - Contract Documents). The contract award will be contingent on full performance bonding, or equivalent and contractor's ability to meet KCHA insurance requirements as outlined in the bid documents. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA. The King County Housing Authority also reserves the right to reject all bids, for any reason, prior to Contract Execution.
