Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Marion, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This posting is the request for engineering services for the replacement of two (2) private bridges that cross Nix Creek in McDowell County. Services include the complete design and construction administration for both projects. Please note both locations are likely located in the flood plain and will require appropriate permitting/approvals. Please contact Dana Phillips for specific information related to the sites. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina. More information on the North Carolina state boards may be found electronically. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
