The Work of this project provides for the furnishing of all materials in accordance with these specifications, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project. The project consists of one (1) contract that shall include, but not be limited to: a. Provide and deliver four hundred (400), 49-foot long, PS-31 steel sheet piles to a site of the Owner's choosing in Erie County, NY Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com, or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The time of completion for the project is 100 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,200 per calendar day will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified.
