Pursuant to N.C. General Statute 143-64, the County of Forsyth is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing professional design and construction services for a playground replacement project. This RFQ provides complete information on the services being sought, the submittal requirements. Project Summary: provide a playground design meeting budget, the full specifications/bidding documents for competitive bidding, and construction services. The project scope is as follows: demo existing equipment, all sitework including grading, drainage, curbing, poured-in-place safety surfacing on 1.5" asphalt & install playground equipment. Equipment to include an age 2-5 section, age 5-12 section, swings and track-ride. 10,000 sf area. Tanglewood Park is located at 4061 Clemmons Road in Clemmons, NC 27012. This RFQ will in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the County to award a contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the RFQ process or in the applications; to re-advertise this RFQ; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of services; and to change or modify the RFQ schedule at any time. This RFQ does not obligate the County to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a response. M/WBE goal of 10%
