Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lancaster, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for the following Work: Carpentry Project consists of renovations at Lancaster High School including window replacement, exterior door replacement, plumbing work at the pool, a new turf field, sidewalks, paving, and site improvements, and site electrical and plumbing. Work also includes the replacement of an interior service lift. Work at Como Park Elementary includes exterior paving, sidewalks, and landscaping. Interior work includes abatement, full renovations including floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, millwork, stairwell replacement, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work and associated roof and exterior wall patching. Work also includes the construction of a new storage building on the Lancaster High School property. Project Location: 1. Lancaster Como Park Elementary, 1985 Como Park Blvd, Lancaster, NY 14086 2. Lancaster High School, 1 Forton Drive, Lancaster, NY 14086 3. Lancaster Multi-Purpose Field Storage, 1 Forton Drive, Lancaster, NY 14086 It is the preference of the Owner for bids to be mailed to the Owners Representatives contact listed above. Deliveries of bids by hand may be made until the time of the bid opening by leaving sealed proposals in the District lock box at the front entrance of the Lancaster District Office, 177 Central Avenue Lancaster, NY 14086. The lock box will be emptied at the time of the bid opening. No bidders will be allowed in the district office to hand deliver proposals. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All potential bidders must self-perform a minimum of 20% of the work. The Contractor shall provide 20% construction and/or site supervision as proof of self-performance associated with the contract that they submit bids for.
