Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Cumberland, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of February 6, 2023, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. This project includes the painting of the interior and exterior of the North End Water Tank. The exterior of tank shall be remediated for lead-based paint. The existing ladder for the water tank shall be removed and replaced with an OSHA compliant ladder system. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the accepted bid will be required of the successful bidder. A Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
