The City of Portage is requesting proposals (RFP) from developers, lenders, attorneys, engineers, architects, contractors and sub-contractors to partner with the City of Portage to develop and/or construct residential housing initiatives. The City of Portage is engaged in a strategic, comprehensive approach to creating additional housing opportunities. To this end, the City has acquired various properties and is seeking private partners to facilitate the development of new residential housing initiatives in the City. Specifically, the City owns a 14 acre parcel at 9617 Portage Road, and is requesting proposals for how to best develop a high-value, residential development with a goal of presenting all of the units for sale to households in the MSHDA 80 - 120% AMI income brackets.
