Replace Emergency Generators and Paralleling Gear INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is seeking capability statements specifically from Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), as well as any other Small OR Large business construction contractors for the purpose of determining if adequate competition exists to set aside a requirement to Replace Emergency Generators and Paralleling Gear at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors with a size standard of $39.5 million. Estimated solicitation release date for this requirement is late-February to early March 2023, with a project period of performance TBD. Estimated award amount is anticipated to between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. (Subject to adjustment). SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials, and perform work to replace emergency generators and paralleling gear at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida, as required by drawings and specifications. CAPABILITY STATEMENT It is requested that interested small business firms having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed all aspects of the effort described herein, submit to the contracting office a capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above.
