Renovation of a multi-residential development in Sparks, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of December 27, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. APN: 026-284-31 Scope of Work: 1. Remove and legally dispose of thirty-four (34) existing furnaces, evaporator coils, condensing units, base pads, and all associated HVAC parts and components as necessary to perform the work. 2. Supply and install thirty-four (34) new 96% efficiency gas furnaces to include but not limited to AC coils, plenum boxes, refrigeration, and suction line sets, condensing units, base pads, thermostats, filter racks, filters, and condensate drains for a complete operational heating and cooling system. 3. Supply and install thirty-four (34) RUDD R962V furnaces Model No. R962V0403A17M4S. 4. Supply and install thirty-four (34) AC evaporator coils Model No. RCFZ2517STANM. 5. Supply and install thirty-four (34) 15 SEER 2 Ton A/C condensing units Model No. RA15AZ24AJ3C and connect to existing electrical disconnect. 6. Supply and install thirty-four (34) new PRO1 thermostats Model No. T751 with backing plates. 7. Contractor shall test each system to ensure proper operation and air flow to each supply register. 8. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest adopted editions of the International Building Code (IBC), International Mechanical Code (IMC), National Fuel Gas Code - NFPA 54, National Electrical Code (NEC) and all City of Reno Ordinances pertaining to construction. 9. Permits are required and Contractor is responsible for permit fees. General Notes: Davis Bacon Wage Rate NV20220040 10/21/2022 Modification 10 applies for all workers employed for this project. Work to be completed in 90 consecutive calendar days. Contractor is required to register on https://sam.gov/content/home prior to the submission of bid. All requests for alternate materials and/or methods must be submitted to RHA for approval no later than twelve (12) business days prior to bid opening directly to developmentdpt@renoha.org. Requests will not be reviewed or approved unless sent to the above email. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all construction debris. Work site must always be maintained in a clean and safe manner. Contractor is responsible for any damage to adjacent asphalt, landscaping or buildings created during the project. If damage occurs that is outside the contractor's normal category of work the contractor shall have repairs made by a licensed contractor that specializes in that type of work. All locations, areas, quantities, and/or dimensions shown or stated are approximate only. Contractors shall field verify and confirm all locations, areas, quantities, and dimensions prior to bidding. Bid Preparation and Submission: 1. Bids will be opened at the above time and date by an RHA representative. 2. Proposals for CF projects that exceed $25,000 will not be considered unless accompanied by cashiers/certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Reno. 3. RHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding, and to determine the low bidder. 4. Payment and Performance bonds are required for all HUD projects that exceed $25,000.
