The Town of Ashland is seeking SEALED BIDS in accordance with MGL Chapter 149, 44A, et seq. and MGL c. 30 39M from competent firms for the procurement of the following on-call maintenance and repair services: Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC Maintenance and Repair Service. The selected firm for each service is expected to provide these services to the Town for a period of three (3) years with the possibility of two 1-year extensions. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount that is not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the bid. Bids will be publicly opened after the submission deadline. Insurance coverage is required at the time of award. The Town of Ashland reserves the right to reject any or all bids which are not responsible and/or responsive, in whole or in part, as deemed in the best interest of the Town and to waive minor informalities, in accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 149, 44A, et seq. and the provisions of MGL Chapter 30, 39M. Prevailing wage rates do apply. Award will be based on the lowest offered price for the term of the contract as submitted by a firm meeting all required qualifications and submitting a fully qualified bid in accordance with the bid specifications and instructions.
