Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bolivia, North Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; 25,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and fire / police facility.
As of November 14, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in fall 2024, with construction following winter 2024 or early 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Construction of a new two-story building of approximately 30,000 SF to accommodate law enforcement and EMS training. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina. E-mail and Fax submittals will not be accepted. In the interest of cost-savings to the designers, consistency of the submittals and more efficient use of time by the pre-selection committee, the submitted information package should not include any notebooks, binders, tab, clips, etc. The format should be 8-1/2" x 11" pages stapled in the upper left-hand corner. The Letter of Interest should not exceed ten (10) single-sided pages or five (5) double-sided pages plus the SF 254. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
