Each Firm shall submit seven (7) complete Proposals, consisting of one (1) unbound original, five (5) identical bound copies and one (1) digital copy in either Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format, to the Department. The Director reserves the right to reject all Proposals, or portions of any, or all, Proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, to re-advertise or to proceed to provide the service otherwise in the best interest of the City. The Director may, at his sole discretion, modify or amend any and all of the provisions herein. Utilizing its resources, the successful Firm shall provide all professional, experienced personnel and services necessary to develop, implement and maintain an Crash Phone System to the Department. The successful Firm's personnel shall perform their duties in a manner satisfactory to the Director but will be exclusively under the direction and control of the successful Firm. In performing its duties hereunder, the successful Firm shall be an independent contractor in every respect. Interested parties may submit questions pertaining to the RFP. Questions must be submitted, in writing, to the Department of Port Control, 5300 Riverside Drive, P. O. Box 81009, Cleveland, Ohio 44181-0009 no later than 4:00 pm December 19, 2022. Verbal responses given by representatives, of the City, at any time, may not be relied upon by the Consultant in submitting its Proposal or in the performance of its obligations under the RFP.
