Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Saugatuck, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project includes the exterior painting and restoration of the existing historic city hall. This involves the stripping of the existing paint and replacement of any damaged or deteriorated siding and substrate before painting the entire exterior. Existing wood windows to be removed, stripped, reglazed, painted, and reinstalled. The existing window screens to be replaced. The existing gutters and downspouts to be removed and replaced. The project also includes the exterior painting and restoration of the existing information booth located across the street from the city hall. The work for the booth is similar to the city hall with the addition of a complete tear off and installation of new asphalt shingle roofing. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Saugatuck reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalitiesand make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City. All bidding questions to be received by the engineer no later than end of day, Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Send questions to the engineer via email to dgibbs@fveng.com.
