Renovation of a residential development in Truro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Town of Truro is seeking sealed bids to install and furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and to perform all operations required for raising, lifting, moving, and relocating onto new foundations one 2-bedroom house and one residential structure located in Truro MA 02666. Any questions regarding the contract and bid documents shall be submitted in writing no later than March 27, 2023, at 2:30pm. Requests for information shall be emailed to: jcabral@truro-ma.gov . All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a certified, bank treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Town of Truro in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. Bid Bonds shall be issued by a company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth. No bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond both in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, for the faithful performance of the contract. The Town of Truro reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as decided to be in the best interest of the Town. Award and contract are contingent upon satisfactory soil and water samples from 25 South Highland and Select Board acceptance of the residential structure to be located on that property. The Town reserves the right to cancel this IFB and to reject all bids in the event that either or both contingencies are not met. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, c.30, & 39M, and other applicable laws, prevailing wage rates apply. The Town of Truro fully complies with federal, state, and local laws and directives governing equal opportunity, affirmative action and non-discrimination in all Town activities and actively solicits bids/proposals from MBE/WBE businesses in accordance with Town policy.
