If the required contract documentation is not executed within the stipulated time, bid checks and/or a bid bond shall be forfeited to City Schools as liquidated damages, as required by Article VI, Section II of the City Charter, for failure to comply with this requirement. Upon execution of the contract agreement, payment, and/or performance bond, City Schools shall refund the amount deposited or release the amount charged against the bond as bid guarantee to the successful Bidder. Bid guarantees posted by unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded or released by City Schools promptly after an award is made. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and readvertise for other bids.
