The City of Marysville (Marysville) is seeking Request for Quotation (RFQ) responses for the Collection and Transportation of Garbage/Refuse, Recyclables and Disposal Services (Project). The work provided shall meet the requirements specified within Appendix B - Collection and Transportation of Garbage/Refuse, Recyclables and Disposal Services - Technical Specifications. Responses should include all labor, equipment materials (garbage and recycling toters), tipping fees and incidental items necessary to complete the Project. If suitable quote is made in response to this RFQ, Marysville may enter into a contract (Contract) to have the selected quote (herein after referred to as Contractor) perform the Project. Any failure to meet a deadline in the response and any objection to the dates for performance in the Project phase may result in Marysville refusing to consider the proposal of the Contractor. The complete scope of work for this Project is located in Section 5 of the Project Requirements section of this RFQ. The section below only gives a summary of that work. If there is any inconsistency between this summary and the description of the work in Section 5, that section will govern. The technical specifications for this Project are located in Appendix B and with the Technical Requirements located in Section 6 of this RFQ. Equipment. The Contractor shall provide placement and delivery of all equipment necessary for the completion of work. Labor. The Contractor shall provide the manpower necessary to complete the tasks as specified within Appendix B - Technical Specifications. Materials. The Contractor shall provide placement and delivery of all materials (garbage toters - green in color and recycling toters - blue in color) necessary for the completion of the work. The schedule for the RFQ is provided below. Marysville may change this schedule at any time. If Marysville changes the schedule before the Contract award, it will do so by notifying the Contractors by telephone or email.
