Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jasper, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
***As of February 2, 2023. Project has been awarded to Avery Landscape and Associates but award amount is not available. Scope of work includes approximately 1,524 SY concrete sidewalks, 4,002 LF curb and gutter, 18 inlets, 303 LF storm piping, 892 LF of 8" sanitary sewer replacement, 3,289 LF of 8" water main replacement, miscellaneous removals, and other miscellaneous work. Copies are available in digital (pdf) format at no charge to all prospective Bidders. Requests for Documents will be honored until 72 hours prior to the Bid Opening, no Documents will be issued after that time. Bidders to note conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates are to be paid under the Contract. Note Section 3, Section 109, E.O. 11246, and Segregated Facility requirements are also applicable. A certified check or a satisfactory Bid executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, made payable to the City of Jasper must be submitted with each Bid. All Bidders must be a properly licensed Alabama General Contractor, including proper classification for work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
